The Philosophy Through Memes

In philosophy through memes, we shall focus on the two following aspects. First, can memes be used as a means to convey or disseminate philosophical notions. Second, how does vague philosophical knowledge is converted into public knowledge, and in this manner, how are memes philosophized as cultural artifacts.

The participants will be working on:

Compare how art is interpreted and can the same methods be applied to understand your meme.

Analyse how memes reflect an evolving society or culture and how they generate further creative curation within the given society.

Find and critically analyse a philosophy-related meme in terms of its content, historicity, intended meaning and embedded narrative.
